Tong and Danny was a photography partnership between myself and Tong Sarin. Having met during our studies at RMIT, we decided to merge our skills and work as a duo. Over the course of a year we worked on several campaigns together but 2012 brought new opportunities for the both Tong and I resulting in the partnership coming to an end.

David LaChapelle was down under in Melbourne shooting for a Nokia promotion so I thought I'd jump on the opportunity to try and grab his attention. I did this by pasting a 43 foot banner on a bridge right next to the shoot the night before. Here's a peek into how it all unfolded.

In 2011, I applied for an internship at Wieden and Kennedy Amsterdam. The program was called The Kennedys and was open to EU passport holders only. I was determined to be included for selection so I wrote an email explaining my dedication and asked if there was way around the EU passport restriction and if not, I would attempt to scuba dive to Amsterdam. After a few exchanges with the head of the program, I was given permission to submit an application. His final email ended with: "PS. If you are accepted we certainly expect that you swim here..." So that's what I based my application on; A stack of newspapers sent to the Wieden and Kennedy office reporting on my "scuba diving world record attempt."
